My Chibi Drawing Process

Description

Da Vinci Fella ( Artists )  -: I am an Artist :- :fuckthis:

This is just one of my most recent drawings.. and this is how I do most of my Drawings.

1.) I do very light sketch with a mechanical "0.7mm ComforMate Ultra lead Pen". I erase most of my sketch lines/shapes to the point where I feel and see The Drawing I want..(kinda hard to explain.. just comes of as I do the body/head...ect Shapes.

2.) I Then Get A Regular Ink Pen and outline/retrace most of the lines I made.. I add in some dark shadow's in some area's that I think the shadow will be present. I fill in the Eye/Lashes/Brows and other parts I see will need this deep black color/shadow.

3.) After Inking it, I erase the pencil marks left.. so the ink doesn't smudge as a lay-down some color with PrismaColor Pencils. (They
usually tend to smudge as you draw over them with Prisma's,, I think it just depends on the ink pen. and what type of ink is used. I need to buy me actual ink pens.) as for my coloring process.. I first lay-out the lightest color (for that certain section of the drawing) In this case the skin. I used Beige all over the skin very lightly (in circular motions). I then use Peach (Heavy Press) for   the deep shadow's and finish of by blending both with Light Peach (Heavy Press, but leaving the lighter area's of the skin alone) I used this technique for every light to dark array of colors (example..Light Blue, a Mid Blue, Dark Blue..Black for deep dark shadows and white for shine. and ALWAYS BLEND WITH THE LIGHTEST COLOR..white color pencil always works for all colors if you run out of the lighter ones.)

4.) As I finish the drawing I go over it as many times as I prefer.. with the same colors and technique (blending) until I get the shadow's and light shiny area's I want. (basically keep doing it until you feel its perfect or close to it.)
